Employees and reporting structure
Once added, the employee opens the app and selects New user with the same email to set their own password.

KPI rounds
Scoring cannot begin in a department until its KPIs are approved.

Default KPI template
This is only a starting point. When you launch a KPI round, every department receives a copy of these and edits them to suit itself. The KPIs that actually count are the ones each department submits and you approve under KPI Rounds.

Job titles waiting on competencies
Somebody holds each of these jobs, and no competencies have been set for it.
Appraisals cannot be created for them โ 30% of the score would be blank.
Only jobs that someone actually holds appear here; the rest of the list can wait.

Competencies by job title
Each job is measured on its own competencies, weighted equally โ
pick n of them and each is worth 30% รท n of the final score.

There is no Save button โ every change here is saved the moment you make it.
The library screen has one because you are typing text there; this screen only
adds and removes rows, so each click is the save.
The dropdown offers what is already in the shared library.
Write a new one adds it to the library and puts it on this job in one step โ
it is then available to every other job too.
The wording โ shared by every job
Above you choose which competencies a job is measured on. Here you edit
how they are worded. Adding one here applies it to nobody โ it only makes it
available to pick above.
One shared wording is what lets the same competency mean the same thing in every job.
If each job typed its own text you would get "Teamwork", "Team work" and "Team Work"
reporting as three different things, and no way to compare a designer with an accountant.

In use
In use unticked keeps the wording but stops offering it for new jobs โ
appraisals already scored against it keep their scores.
Delete is only possible while nothing has used it yet.
Required. An employee with no manager is left out when appraisals are created.Tick this only for the person at the top of the organisation. It exempts them from
every appraisal round. Everyone else must have a direct manager.
